The Deutsche Bahn has some interesting special offers for travelers, among them the Länder-Ticket and InterRail.

        1. Länder-Ticket:

With this special offer you can travel with up to 5 persons on a ticket costing 27€ in all local trains and the entire transport system of the Verkehrsverbünde of a federal state like Baden-Wuerttemberg for a whole day (from 9 am. to 3 am.).

Thus you can explore other nice places in Baden-Wuerttemberg like Heidelberg, Konstanz or Freiburg for a reasonable price if travelling in a group.

        2. InterRail:

This offer is designed for European residents (you count as such when you have lived in Europe for more than 6 month) who want to travel to the rest of Europe – because it is not valid for your country of residence.         3. Eurail

Eurail offers similar services as InterRail but is only eligible for Non-European-residents; just visit www.eurail.com for different tickets, prices and destinations.
